Michal graduated in 2003 at Duncan Centre Conservatoire in Prague. After his studies, he became a member of the Norwegian national dance company Carte Blanche where he danced in works by Amanda Miller, Ohad Naharin and Ina Christel Johansen. In 2004 Michal joined Italian dance company Roberto Zappala to work on two projects. Between January 2005 and June 2006 he was a member of the new dynamic dance theatre company Nanohach, based in Prague. He joined SDT in summer 2006.
