First a gymnast, Victoria began her dance training aged fourteen with Judith Hockaday in Swindon. She then continued her training in London, attending the Bird College of Theatre Performance and achieving a BA (Hons) degree. After graduating from college, Victoria spent 7 months in America, and on her return in July 2000 she joined SDT. Victoria has mentored to students from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds during their apprenticeships with SDT. She has also taught class for the company, and on a freelance basis outwith. Victoria has choreographed on dance students at Edinburgh's Telford College and Dundee's Scottish School of Contemporary Dance. She choreographed her first professional piece, Three Studies, on SDT company members which premiered in Out of the House at Dundee Rep Theatre in February 2006.
