Alexander Lowde

Trained at Hull University and Motley Theatre Design Course. In 2007 Alex was part of the UK team exhibiting at the Prague Quadrennial, with his designs for Tobias and the Angel which was designed for The Opera Group and John Fulljames.

Recent and Current work includes:  Taking over the Asylum, (Lyceum Edinburgh and Citizens, Glasgow);  Carousel (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland); Mill Lavvies and She Town (Dundee Rep); Pinter’s One for the Road and Victoria Station, Co-production between The Print Room and the Young Vic; Clockwork Orange (Theatre Royal, Stratford East).

For Dundee Rep: Anna Karenina, Equus, Beauty and The Beast and The Elephant Man all with Dir. Jemima Levick.

Previous work: Beyond the Rave, (a film for download on Myspace and DVD Pure Grass Films); The Adventures of Mr Broucek, Opera North and Scottish Opera, dir.
