At the Royal Conservatory of Music (he is a former Piano graduate), Jaz is a teacher for its first ever Scratch from Scratch: DJ Fundamentals course.

His roots in classical music and hip-hop have led him to create a new style of production that incorporates all of his previous musical disciplines and experience.  In 2008 he collaborated with the Canadian Opera Company to co-produce, write, and perform, a series of mini-operas.

To present, he continues to produce new works in this classical/hip-hop fusion style having provided the musical score for RBDG's AV Input/Output, Punto Ciego and Gravity of Center as well as appearing on stage with K-OS as his DJ and keyboardist.   His work with the RUBBERBANDance Group birthed his first and only full-length recording release to date called, Taking Notes: Music from Punto Ciego and Other Lost Thoughts.
