Genevieve Reeves (Apprentice Dancer)

Genevieve grew up in Oxford and started dancing from a young age with companies such as Oxford Youth Dance Company and East Oxford Youth Ballet before joining the Centre for Advanced Training Programme at The Place in 2007. She then went on to join SHIFT Youth Dance Company where she toured works choreographed by Ben Duke and Theo Clinkard and was selected to perform Wilderness choreographed by Tony Adigun for the Robin Cohan at 90 showcase. Genevieve went on to continue her training at Northern School of Contemporary Dance where she performed pieces choreographed by Humanhood, Vinicius Salles and Tiia Ourila. She also had her own solo work selected to be performed at the Riley Theatre.

Genevieve joined Scottish Dance Theatre in summer 2019 as an apprentice dancer, part of a postgraduate course in performance through London Contemporary Dance School. Visit lcds.ac.uk/apprenticeships for more information on the programme.
