Giorgia Pirozzi

Originally from Napoli (Italy), Giorgia started her training in dance at the age of 10 at LabArt Dance Centre, obtaining a Diploma Certificate in 2014. In the same year she joined MART Dance Company, directed by Marco Auggiero with whom she performed the production OVO as part of OrienteOccidente Dance Festival (Rovereto, IT). In 2016 she continued her training in contemporary dance joining the second year of the undergraduate program at London Contemporary Dance School (The Place), graduating in July 2018 with a BA (hons) degree. Alongside the dance practice, she started working as a Teaching Assistant for the Centre of Advanced Training (The Place), developing a strong interest in teaching. During her training at LCDS, Giorgia has worked with various choreographers such as Theo Clinkard, Sasha Roubicek, Rick Nodine, and Hagit Yakira. She has also collaborated with various fashion designers performing during the London Fashion Week (September 2017) and as part of a video installation presented at the Shanghai Fashion week (May 2018).

Giorgia joins Scottish Dance Theatre as an Apprentice Dancer as part of her Postgraduate coursework at London Contemporary Dance School.
