Dundee Spy Academy

Dundee Spy Academy is looking for new recruits for a top-secret mission this summer. We can't meet in our usual headquarters at Dundee Rep and so we are taking our activity online. During this week-long course you will meet a team of special agents, develop your own spy skills, help crack the codes and complete the mission.

How to Join: You will need access to a computer or tablet as well as an internet connection that can run Zoom. You will also need a device that can record videos. Technical support will be available.

Accessibility: We want Dundee Spy Academy to be as accessible as possible. If you or your young person require additional support (be that BSL interpretation, audio descriptions or anything else) be sure to mention it when booking your space and one of our team will be in touch to ensure that you can take part in our spy training in the best way for you.

If cost is a barrier and you would like to be considered for a bursary place, email Tashi at tgore@dundeerep.co.uk and tell her why you’d like your child to take part.

Book online at dundeerep.co.uk or call 01382 223530 and leave a message.

Together/Apart

Dates: 27 - 31 July 2020

10am - 4pm

12-18 years

Cost: £60 per head

How can we be together when we are apart?

Together/Apart is a creative online exploration into how we can make original theatre and dance that brings us together, even when we are apart.

The project will run for one week and you can choose to follow one of two strands:

-      Dance and choreography, led by Scottish Dance Theatre's Artistic Director Joan Clevillé

-      Creative Collaboration in Theatre, led by new Associate Directors (Engage) Jess Thorpe and Tashi Gore

Both creative teams will be working simultaneously to make creative responses that explore the question ‘How we can be together when we are apart?’  The artistic responses will be captured digitally and shared with our audiences online.

To take part in this online project you will need access to a computer or tablet as well as an internet connection that can run Zoom, and a device that can record videos. Technical support will be available.

Accessibility: We want Together/Apart to be as accessible as possible. If you or your young person require additional support (be that BSL interpretation, audio descriptions or anything else) be sure to mention it when booking your space and one of our team will be in touch to ensure that you can take part in the best way for you.

If cost is a barrier to you / your young person taking part and you would like to be considered for a bursary place, email Tashi at tgore@dundeerep.co.uk and tell her why you / your young person would like to take part.

Book online at www.dundeerep.co.uk or call 01382 223530 and leave a message.

*Please note this is not a professional dance training workshop designed for trained dancers.
